Information

Alpha College of English (now Twin English Centre Dublin) was founded in 1989 as an executive training centre that provided high-level management and technical courses in English to non-native English speakers.

The demand for high-quality English language courses was just as significant, and we started providing General English courses focusing on Business and Specialised Programmes.

Over the last thirty years, we have remained true to our founding principle of offering the highest quality standards to our students worldwide.

When the school first opened as Alpha College of English in Dublin, approximately 20 students from 3 different countries started there. Last year, we welcomed 52 nationalities to Dublin and always tried to ensure the best possible nationality mix in all the classes.

The Irish Department of Education recognises twin English Centre Dublin. It is also a member of the most prestigious quality mark in the International Language Travel industry – EAQUALS.

The general English curriculum covers 12 weeks at all levels, from Elementary to Advanced. Our core classes occur from 9 AM to 1 PM, Monday to Friday, with a coffee break from 10 to 11.
