- Waterford English Language Centres WELC is an English school run by a family the whole year round. The Behal family (school´s directors) have been involved in bringing language students to Waterford since 1968.
- English School WELC has been located in a beautiful Georgian building for the last six years, a fifteen-minute walk from Waterford city centre.
- The school has been recognised by ACELS/Department of Education for over twenty years now. It is also a recognised Cambridge Exam preparation centre, a Trinity exam centre, and is a member of MEI and Waterford Chamber of Commerce.
- WELC has five classrooms, a student social hub, access to a library, wifi-enabled classrooms, projectors, and a beautiful back garden for BBQs.
- WELC English school in Waterford is on a quiet residential street surrounded by several schools (including our summer residential centre in Newtown, which is only a five-minute walk from our year-round home).
