Secondary Teachers an Inclusive Environment

Course

Erasmus+ Creating an inclusive environment in your classroom

Information

This course is designed for current high school teachers who are passionate about inclusion and getting it right for every student.

An inclusive classroom fosters a supportive atmosphere for all learners, including those with learning challenges, while simultaneously challenging and engaging gifted and talented students via developing a more responsive learning environment.

Inclusion refers to how we design our schools, classrooms, and courses so that all of our children may learn and engage together.

This course focuses on what you, the instructor, and the most powerful person in the room can do to help.

The mobility’s overall goals

  • Analyze ways to create a welcoming environment and area.
  • Concentrate on concrete methods that you can use in your classroom.
  • Discuss ways to centre the learning experience on the pupils.
  • Give an outline of the teacher's responsibilities in an inclusive classroom.
  • Give instructions on how to cope with harmful behaviour.

Activities to carry out

  • Cultural and historical excursions with a chaperoned group.
  • Individual and group work and input sessions are used in interactive teaching.
  • Participants are led to internet resources to help them better comprehend inclusion.
  • Participants in feedback sessions reflect on their practice while sharing their knowledge and abilities.
  • Workshops focusing on developing your teaching materials.

Impact and expected results

  • Another pleasant result is encountering different cultural surroundings and networking with foreign colleagues.
  • Participants are encouraged to share their newly learned information and skills with their colleagues via built-in dissemination activities.
